Talking to your GP

Your GP sees this every week. They can talk things through, check for anything physical, and refer you to counselling or other support. You don’t have to have it all worked out before you go.

If it helps, write a few lines down and read them out. Something like: “I’ve been feeling low for a few weeks, I’m not sleeping, and I’m not myself.”

Men who meet up and talk

Andy’s Man Club runs free, men only peer support groups across the UK every Monday at 7pm. No booking, just turn up.

Men’s Sheds in the UK and Ireland are local spaces where men meet, make things and talk shoulder to shoulder.
